AMUSEMENT PARKS and THINGS TO DO. Part 1.

Scientists determine that human thoughts are material. Having dreams and plans for our future help reduce stress level and improve health. That’s why we publish this post when Marbella has come to a standstill. Our municipality has never seen such a high level of Covid-19 infection during 11 months of the pandemic. Andalusian government requested permission from Madrid to start the curfew at 20.00 not 22.00 (denied) and even for non-voluntary self-isolation (no answer). For now, Marbella and other municipalities of Malaga province are under a perimetral lockdown; on January 26 all non-essential activities closed.

MARBELLA SPORTS BOATS

Life came to a halt, but it is not over! Spanish resorts hope for an early recovery and reservations for summer season have already begun. Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez suggested the country would welcome foreign tourists by the end of August, once 70% of citizens would be vaccinated. Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism Reyes Maroto is even more optimistic predicting the return of tourists in late March-April.

In 2019, in a 7th straight year the number of international visitors to Spain hit a record of 83.7 million. The results of 2020 are equal to 1969. However, vaccination across Europe and the US will allow tourists to travel in a few months hopefully.

Now it’s time to dispel a bad ‘quarantine’ mood by activating a positive feeling and preparing for fun.

There are many things to do in and around Marbella, plenty of options to keep your family entertained and experience unique indoor and outdoor activities. Especially if you live in the area where New Spain meets Old Spain, and the residential infrastructure is excellent, and everything is at hand. Like our luxurious complex ‘Perlas del Mar’. Where can you go from here when the restrictions are over?
